THE PRESENTATION

MYEUSTORY, INTRODUCED

MYEUStory title slide: Europe through our eyes, by 1st-year CEM students at SNSPA.
Reasoning: to engage our community in learning why being a member of the EU matters, to bring awareness about democracy, European values and rights, and to keep creating social innovation from our educational experiences as students.
What is MYEUStory: a shared Instagram account where 1st-year CEM students post EU-related content about news, initiatives and their own experiences as active citizens, in a friendly, playful yet informative way, with daily posts on @myeustory.eu. Shown next to a phone open on the Instagram profile.
Why the name MYEUStory: “Europe through our eyes” is how CEM students see the EU and craft their stories. Multiple teams each show their own view on the page, with a shared sense of community and belonging built around European values.
How it works: 21 student teams each create posts about a different EU topic. Every team has a frontman, a text person, an editor, a graphic designer and a project manager who shares the content on Instagram. Surrounded by example posts.
How it works: special events such as class activities and the Together.EU bootcamp are documented through posts, reels and stories. Daily posts come as reels, static posts, carousels and testimonials, each team in its assigned format. Shown with stills from student reels.
Together.EU Bootcamp, Sinaia, 2025: a photo collage of MYEUStory students at the bootcamp, labelled media, community, values, growth and team.
Topic proposals: European rights; AI, social media, cybersecurity, USB-C and roaming; gender equality and the inclusion of minorities; health and mental health programmes; how EU countries benefit from membership; environmental responsibilities and climate action; the national recovery and resilience plan; press freedom and combating misinformation; the EU budget and the eurozone; education, skills and opportunities; safety, recovery and resilience at European level.
Resources involved: video cameras and phones, editing software, and our students’ creativity as project managers, frontmen, graphic designers, copywriters and photo and video editors.
